Indirect Taxation

With every passing day there has been a growing emphasis by the Government of Pakistan and its Provincial Governments on indirect taxation. Indirect taxes currently applicable in Pakistan include but are not limited to sales tax on supplies, sales tax on services, federal excise duty on both goods and services and custom duty and regulatory duty on items exported from and imported in Pakistan. We have established a practice to meet clients’ needs providing a wide range of indirect tax services which include: 

  • Registration and enrollment with FBR, Sindh Revenue Board (“SRB”), Punjab Revenue Board (“PRB”) & KPK Revenue Board (“KRB”);
  •  Preparation and filing of monthly indirect tax returns and statements;
  • Advice and assistance on maintenance of accounts, daily purchases and sales accounts and invoices for the purposes of indirect taxation;
  • Assistance in obtaining indirect tax refunds;
  • Opinions on indirect tax issues;
  • Representation during Sales Tax, Federal Excise & Customs Adjudication / Audit; and
  • Preparation, filing and arguing of appeals, petitions and references before all appellate forums up to the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
