Mr. Syed Wasim Uddin Hashmi is the founder of Hashmi Associates and Senior Advocate of Honorable High Court. After completing his education, Mr. Hashmi joined the leading Chartered Accountants/Tax Firm, M/s F.R.Merchants where he gained substantial experience in the field of taxation, accounts and corporate advisory practices.

In 1985, Mr. Hashmi established his own practice, where he deals primarily with Taxation, Accounts, and Company Law matters. Mr. Hashmi specializes in corporate, commercial litigation and tax law. Under his leadership, Hashmi Associates, has evolved into one of the leading law firms in Karachi and represents a vast range of private and corporate clients as well as government/semi-government bodies and organizations.

Mr. Hashmi was the President of Tax Bar Association in 2014 and has been elected three times as Secretary of Karachi Tax Bar Association.
